“There was nowhere to go but everywhere, so just keep on rolling under the stars.” – Jack Kerouac, On the Road
That is one of the many phrases stuck in my mind after finishing the book On the Road by Jack Kerouac. Maybe I am not as brave as Sal Paradise or Dean Moriarty to travel across America with the same carefree attitude and sense of adventure. But I am definitely open to new discoveries and willing to see the astonishing beauty of the nature around me. Plus, I am equipped with my car, a few days off work and school, my easygoing friends. And I am certainly ready to have fun on a journey and update my Facebook page with new memories. Well, seems like I have all the ingredients needed for another fascinating road trip. The only question to be decided is what new breathtaking course I should take.
Doing my research on the places I would like to visit in the U.S., I found inspiring ideas from travelers who have taken road trips all over the country. Turns out that you don’t have to go far to discover, have fun, and simply enjoy the beauty of the road. Just remember to be a responsible driver behind the wheel to keep yourself and your passengers safe.
